My mission is to enhance students' ability to reason mathematically and effectively communicate mathematical concepts. They will search for more than one way to solve problems and incorportate the use of models to justify their thinking. This learning environment will encourage students to view the world around them from a mathematical perspective and discover that math is inherent in nature, job skills, and daily living. Math is a continuous construction of knowledge and there is a mathematician residing in each one of us.

The NJC math and science competion is scheduled for March 31, 2003.
Remember to bring a number two pencil and a calculator. The calculator may only be used for the critical thinking exams. Also bring your tennis shoes for the basketball shoot in the Bank of Colorado Event Center.
